With all three kids away this summer, I decided instead of writing my blog I was going to sit back, reflect and be totally selfish. Now that the July rain has washed the summer away, life is back in full swing, and I wanted to take the time to share what I have learned.
I learned all about colors this summer. Green, Yellow and Red. A stoplight right. Green = Go, Yellow=Proceed with caution and Red=Stop, or as I now see it, stay away.

Yes, summer is officially over. Funny, it happens every year.
A glorious Labor Day—weather-wise— has come and gone. The Back-to-School sales have ended as kids are back in school. Football season is here. Soon, leaves swirling in the autumn wind will be changing to brilliant colors of gold and scarlet, and, of course, work routines and schedules are about to heat up in a big way.
There?s no doubt about it. The lazy days of summer are over and the ?stress season? is about to begin. For many, the focus now becomes how to not become one of the brutal statistics associated with ongoing stress: (more…)
